Spread the Word Initiative

Started in May 0f 2017, this program is aimed to donate books and education packages to the homeless, poverish, and deprived children and adult. For this program, we partnered with over 21 homeless shelters in the state of Texas. By providing a box of 50 books with a multitude of different genres, we created a system of books checking to the homeless. Thanks to donation from Lovejoy ISD, we were able to recieve over 1,000 books to be able to put to good use. Studies show that cognitive and behaviorial levels increase when exposed to literature. This inturn indirectly improves ones literacy and mental aptitude. Now with this increase in mind function, one is able to remove themselves from a jobless and powerless life thus removing them from this immense perpetual cycle of poverty. With this education we hope to see increases in employment and health standards set by these individuals that partake in our programs.
